The man had posted romantic remarks on Gaal's Facebook pages over the last two years, according to multiple individuals who spoke to The New York Post. After his arrest, Bonola allegedly admitted to murdering Gaal, according to sources.

Officers allegedly accused Bonola after locating his blood-soaked boots at Gaal's Forest Hills house on Saturday, April 16, where she was stabbed approximately 60 times. The suspect was detained at the 112th Precinct in Forest Hills, Queens, and is expected to be processed.

David Bonola, a handyman, has been accused with the murder of Orsolya Gaal, a Queens mother of two. He allegedly resided in Richmond Hills, near Gaal's home, which she shared with her husband and family, and occasionally worked for her.

According to reports, Bonola had no criminal record or arrest history previous to his latest imprisonment. The handyman frequently commented on Gaal's Facebook posts, describing her as the "most gorgeous woman" with "love eyes."

Gaal went to see a play at the Lincoln Center with her friends on Friday, April 15, and then stayed out at the Forest Hills Station House pub in her area before going home. Her 13-year-old son Leo was still present upstairs when she was stabbed to death in the basement of her home about 12:40 a.m. Surveillance footage from approximately 4:30 a.m. showed the guy carrying Gaal's body out of the residence in a duffel bag.
